Perfect table service and faultless food. We had an early Saturday lunch. Hummous with delicious freshly cooked flatbread. We haven't tasted better anywhere! Our side salad was absolutely fresh and crispy. Complementary cold water is served in a bottle on request. There is also a wide selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The cider was most refreshing. A great atmosphere, subdued lighting with UB40 playing in the background. Watch the world go by from the crafted wooden stools and wide open windowless space facing the street or take a table. Pickled Poppy is a must visit when in Fremantle. A rest easy relaxed place.
Had a great light Sunday lunch, ordered the flat bread with whipped feta and the beef skewers with mango and pawpaw salad. We shared it between 2 people which was satisfying. The food was fresh, crispy and tasty. The server was patient, warm and friendly, which we really appreciate. I just didnโt like their spin on the espresso martini, I enjoyed the first sip but I found it a little bit too citrus heavy after a while, but thatโs just me being fussy. Great vibes with upbeat music. Thank you for having us.
A hip little eatery in Fremantle with excellent wait staff and quite good atmosphere with the glass bi folds open. I ordered the cheese pizza style bread with Hummus dip, it was yummy and sufficient for a Sunday snack. They carry a quality range of wines also, as I got to try a King Valley white which I had visited that region earlier in the year.
The overall vibe of Pickled Poppy was amazing! Really delicious ginger beer, with our meat lovers pizza coming out fabulous. Perfect spot if you also want to look out on the Fremantle street to people watch. (alot of GF options)
We came on a Sunday for lunch, love the decor and vibe, service was great. We enjoyed all the food we ordered- smoked salmon wrap, focacia bread with pulled beef, focacia bread with chicken and chorizo sausage pizza. Every dish was decent portion and we were full. Definitely recommend this place.
